1.) When can I get my license? Once you obtain your Learner's Permit (it is valid for two [2] year from the date of issurance), you must hold it for a mininum of nine (9) months before you will become eligible to take the Driver's Test at MVA.
2.) How old do I have to be to attend driving school? You must be at least 15 years old to attend driving school. You must be 15 and 9 months to obtain a learner's permit.
3.) Who is considered a Rookie Driver? All applicants, regardless of age, who have never held a driver's license in Maryland, or any other state or country.
4.) When can I go driving with an Instructor? You must first pay your account in full; and you must have completed at least 9 hrs. (1st three days) of classroom instruction. You also must have a valid MD LEARNER’S PERMIT in order to schedule and complete your six (6) hours of driving with AGAPE Driving School. You must call one of the Driving Instructors, not the Business Office, to schedule your driving lessons.
5.) Whose gonna take me out? You must keep a list of the driving instructors with you at all times, while attending this school. You must call to schedule your appointments with ONE driving instructor only. Please do not call the office to schedule any driving lessons, or to ask who is available to take you out driving.
6.) When do I get my certificate? You must first successfully complete a total of 30 hours of classroom instruction, as well as 6 hours of behind the wheel training. If all required signatures have been acquired, your Learner'sPermit# has been recorded, AND the driving instructor has completed all necessary paperwork, your certificate will be electronically transmitted directly to MVA. If any necessary information has been omitted, your certificate will not be transmitted. If for any reason your electronically transmitted certificate is rejected by MVA, you will receive a call, and you will be asked to verify your information.
